due my thread yesterday, which spoke of:
granary > all other breads,
i realised i was wrong. its actually crumpets
I like bagels.
soft white rolls
followed by Bagels
and Muffins (the toasted kind > american kind (only just)).
wheres the bread in cake?
I have it toasted every morning.
why isn't there a decent tesco in north london? >:(
That stuff is so good. I used to eat it dry by itself it was so tasty.
is deffo not as good as other breads, but all breads are pretty cool.
tesco white pitta bread. this is the bread to end all breads. few breads come close to being this good. toasted, filled with sliced meat or cold butter or something mediterranean.. used as a pizza base.. it's all good.
warburton's milk loaf
sunblest crumpets [a winter staple]
good soft heavy-duty granary bread
proper flaky croissants
those finger rolls that marks & spencer does. they really are quite wonderful
a good, classic baguette
dough bread is pretty great too. is it west indian? or african? it's pretty great.
pikelets. NO! these are not right! have crumpets, or don't bother.
bagels. the popularity of this renegade attempt at bread saddens me. and it's got a hole in the middle. very low VFM factor.
toast. toast counts as a kind of bread. and it's bad.
plain white bread. what a waste of creative breadmaking skills this is.
cheap pitta bread. an insult.
2006. a different time.
anyway, i was looking for the thread saying how good warburtons crumpets are. just had some . couldn't find the thread though. found one with meths defending them against smee and geoff, but this one deserves the bump more.
but, yeah, crumpets are lush innit.
I mean really.
