Has anyone actually bought a copy? It looks quite intriguing.
if there is such a thing.
I met Amelia once and she was cool.
Accidental writes for her sometimes.
because it came with colouring pens or something, but it was like a tenner. i don't even pay that much for books. so no.
you know we do have to grow up sometime, even if its not in every aspect of our lives - jesus I blame twee music and weak mollycoddling parents
actually I don't know who I blame. I'm confused by this thread, now, too.
if it was 1.50 then maybe - still its not harming anyone really - apart from those who can't afford to buy it and will go to all sorts of lengths to secure funding. Maybe
you'd be able to exchange it for doing someone's hair. Or giving them a friendship bracelet.
I went off anything to do with twee when i knew a 'guy' from bristol who I actualy caught hugging his vinyl copy of Belle & Sebastian's 'Tigermilk' and smiling to himself like it was a fucking baby he'd just saved from a fire - I met him in a band and he thought he was a cross between Stuart Murdoch and Graham Coxon. This would have been the case if the Stuart Murdoch and Graham Coxon in question were chinless mummy's boys who couln't handle criticism and probably wet the bed until they were 30. Happily in London the prick aquaintance ratio is very low.
crabapple, aka me?
This man I refer to was actally sacked from one of the cato/Kaito/Kayto bands - I could see why after about 13 minutes in his company.
seem to have taken the original Emo look as their own. Tweemo? I remember when Emo was all shy geeky people with black rimmed glasses and books.
could also be abbreviated to 'me' which is apt - I always wanted to be twee but everyone seemed to be too self obsessed to want to actually form any sort of collective of any kind - I think this is where my exclusionist paronoia stems from.
However reading books and being gangly always 'attracted' the 'girls' at least
well any orange penguin or a book about joe Orton and his kind always impressed - we're not talking prole women here
he played bass in Loot. Or was that lute in Bass?
i used to write poetry on the Catherdral Green and always look pained -that always worked as well
