what did everyone want to be when they grew up?
And even, did anyone manage to follow their dream?
I haven't grown up.
an astronaut, and i still do, but i'd need a physics degree probably, and laser eye surgery
cos i bet putting your contacts in in zero-gravity is a bitch
Astronaut...as realistically there is no chance i could have done it...
When I was really small I wanted to teach kids how to make a mess. Later on I wanted to be a racing driver and an aerodynamics person, I used to experiment with paper aeroplanes. Now my ambitions are far more grounded and realistic: I want to be a rock'n'roll star.
to become a vet. Hmmm that hasn't happened!
Vets have to touch cat testicles too often for my liking
with your cat, doncha Rik?!
Thinking about it, if I was a vet I'd be getting a wage for it
at a mid-sized building society. I'm living the dream.
on what I wanted to be
and seeing as I'm just 15, I sitll have a lot of growing up to do.
But my earliest dream as a kid was to be a ballerina on a horse, I think I should get points for being ogiriginal. Then minus some points for being silly.
But the only thing i can really be happy doing is something arty like playing music or doing pictures or whatever. Im shite at all so it probably wont happen.
I dont want to be behind a desk. THe prospect fightens me more than anything : (
but then i went on work experience and it was no fun, NO FUN AT ALL. i thought it would be all jetsons-like, sketching crazy buildings. but it was just phoning people to confirm the shade of their bricks/going on site visits and seeing what else had been cocked up since last time.
so dreams crushed and cap in hand, i decided to be batman.
i too did work experience at an architectural design place, and it was so awful it reduced me to tears and i never want to work in an office, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever again
probably will though.
..i liked their feet measuring device.
I now realise i was a strange child.
foot hugging measuring machine in Clarks was ace.
sitting around drinking Margarita's through a curly plastic straw. But it's not really a career option.
be a pop star - so i went to pop star school, obv.
