im all deaf, dizzy and tired.
and there nowt that can be done apparently, grrr.
Poor you. THat is quite a serious thing to have happen... Don't let them get any worse.. your hearing is not something you can repair.. get some earplugs if you don't have any. Do you DJ or what?
it works with underwear.
But seriously, get some hardcore ear plugs. Anything above 80 decibels will damage your hearing if you're exposed to it for a long period of time i.e. a few hours.
perforated by the doctor to even out pressure or something.
It didn't work very well cos next time I went back my left ear drum had partially collapsed.
Sounds worse than it is, I just can't use a phone on my left ear.
just takes a while to repair itself.
it's horrible, isn't it? I had to miss a Mogwai gig. Now I wear earplugs to everything ever, as I'm scared it'll happen again.
i've had trouble with my ear for about a year so the doctor thinks i may have had a perforated ear drum for that long without it healing, in which case id need to get sometihng minor done to it but i have to wait 12 weeks until i can see a specialist!!!
during those 12 weeks i have my A-levels AND Truck! great.
phobia of going deaf after a really loud Bosstones gig, which I think damaged my right ear slightly. I now always wear earplugs to gigs, I feel safer.
earplugs to a gig, surely you cant hear anything?
shall i frown upon earplugs.
i think the dirty old men on the prowl at Club NME (if anyones had the displeasure of going) give them a bad name
I've got a pair of these, they basically tone down the noise but you can still hear people when they are talking to you.
go to that many gigs, probably a couple or so a month, but it still concerns me that i could damage my hearing.
have to invest in a pair of etymotic earplugs. i would still be able to hear the music clearly right?
will be able to hear the music. In fact, it will make it clearer, I've found iot has anyway. I can see my decent into old man-hood at the moment, 22 years old, and I'm complaining that the "damn music you crazy kids are playing is too loud"
