now this is exciting
have no idea what this means, or even a vague genre of what it's about. Anyone?
a football player. will be playing in the premiership next season i would assume.
There's showers in the Prem. How exciting.
You know what raz is like, just a slight chance of man on man action and he gets rather horny...
I just wish he wasn't at Chelsea. He's ridiculously good.
of the strength (or maybe money) of the Premiership, it will just bring forward the date on which Chelsea win the title :(
But you need another top-class striker now that Nistlerooy is on his way..
But he's a bit unpredictable.
Adriano from Inter maybe a bit out of your price range, so erm maybe someone like Miroslav Klose?
should have gone all out for Ballack, exactly the type of player they need (and a striker too now)
Motta from Barca.
It seems like i'm arguing with every point you make, doesn't it... heh.
I have now forgotten how to spell Truse (sic).
AHAHA, it's Truce!
In my Year 4 spelling test.
Yeah, you can't deny the man is quality
But he's 29. He's played in the slower, easier Italian league all these years. We've seen with plenty of European strikers that it takes a while to settle in (Bergkamp, Kezman, Crespo to name three)
Say it takes him a season to get used to the pace and physical side of the Prem. He'll be 30 by then
I know money is no object for Chelsea, but he'll have about two good years in him. It doesn't worry me too much at all
Now, Adriano on the other hand...
How do you think we (Arsenal) did so well in the Champions League as opposed to the Premiership?
Completely different style of football. You only have to look at the different systems/starting line ups of the English teams in it to realise that
By the way, I'm not saying Shevchenko isn't a quality player, if that's the impression I'd given
wont have a problem adapting to the pace of the prem, it will be interesting to see how chelsea play next season though and how ballack and shevvers will fit into the team, but i have no doubt he will score lots of goals and chelsea will be even harder to beat
From what I've seen, but reports have said he's been very poor this last half of the season.
To me though 30 isn't a bad age for a player anymore. THere are plenty of players still playing well, well inmto their mid 30s. But still it is a bit of a gamble...
Feckin' big and quick, he is
He's ideal for the Premiership
Still, he scored two more than Crespo this season
But big, quick players do seem to fit the Prem well...
In one sitting.
I doubt very much anyone in the world could top the excitement produced by him bar Ronaldinho (possibly.)
if one wanted to show comedy footballignorance, one could ask 'Henry who?'
