Any idea what it costs to have a website?
It's for a dear friend of mine.
that might be to have one built for you too...
Come round the back, I'll show you the goods, but be quiet about it.
quote for tits.com is 00
a domain name and webspace (home for the website) can be bought for £30pa (www.clara.net).
The actual build can be anywhere from £100 for a simple single page, to £10,000+ for an all singing all dancing database backed bespoke website.
to do it on a really low budget.
You can get a .co.uk domain for £2 a year, and there's plenty of reasonable free hosting about (obviously you get what you (don't) pay for, but still). If you can build your site yourself then obviously you don't have to pay for that.
So it can be done cheaply. The better you want the service to be, the more you'll have to pay.
but it'd be shit.
If you know html, or can build the site yourself another way, you can get a .co.uk domain with 500mb of space and 10gb of traffic per month for £30 a year through easyspace.com
