THERE IS NO SALVATION.
could be worse.east 17 could come back.
toploader actually got their name from a term popular amongst drug users, meaning that if you listen to them you want to top yourself.
why would such an unloved band reform??
All hail the miracle of SEO/google cache.
Fucking what the internet is all about. :D
they actually are back together now
they have a new single out this week
"The single is available as part of an EP which features the full-length album version of the track, brand new track ‘Shifting Sands’ and our recently released 2010 version of ‘Dancing In The Moonlight’"
and am happy to sign up for assassination duties/mission impossible style break in of their record label to steal and destroy all the masters of their recorded output.
How many times did they release 'dancing in the moonlight'? 4? 5?
the one saying they're on tour. I was just SO EXCITED
and been recording/remixing in my best friend's studio!
i don't remember writing that first post. i sounded very angry.
as a poster's best first comment?
we're sick, we're a community
Unfortunately the opening poster passed away some years ago, but I'm sure his grandchildren will appreciate the closure
It worked though. I was FREAKED.
Who else would it be?
Both of them read the forum
re and rere (and rerere?) release of one single in particular.
They weren't really /that/ good to start with, and the over-exposure to that one cover version pushed many people into paroxysms of unbridled hatred of the band.
Personally, it branded the opening bar of the song into my brain so that I could escape from whichever environment I was in when the song started. Thereby preventing my collapse due to rage-induced anyeurism, which can put a dampener on a night out, or a day shopping or in fact any situation you could mention.
It was fun and I enjoyed it. Mainly because I know the lead guitarist (not the Gail Porter one) and got to see him miming backing vocals even though there were only about 50 people there. Old habits die hard!
