There's too many bands and things and stuff at the moment - I feel crushed it all - is this normal?
but i'm loving it! would you rather boyzone again?
erm, no - I'm having difficulty to find anything that makes me feel like Iv'e just taken a lifetime's worth or Horse tranquiliser - I'll get bollocked by Crabbers now but I think I'm having a 'brown study' or something. Think I suffered a bit of overkill
I don't want anything geeky, rocky, ironic, or 'ditzy' - shall i lie low for a bit d'you think?
what's the criteria?
they're quite good
I listen to the radio I download stuff but just go 'blah' - I know there is fantastic stuff out there - what we're 'allowed to like' just isn't getting me on heat
i got Talking Heads 77 on vinyl the other day - its ok but its OLD
that will improve the sound quality
*use soap and water and soft cloth to clean vinyl.. nothing else...
it won't be rubbish.
I've made yours. I just need to post it.
sorry, I suck.
I've had yours finished for about a month.
I just need to post it...
so i can send you yours...
and can i have one from alan too?
and I'm running away from this thread now...
I already owe too many people mixtapes.
I like yr mixtapes - arent you meant to be at ATP - or are you Great Escape?
or Keane rehearsals in return
Im turning into Barry Ryan -a bit bubblegum but can anyone ANYONE top a pop song like Eloise?
I am moaning really - I spent last night think about Albanian folk music
I haven't heard that for aaaaaaaaages.
It's fucking cool.
Get Wes Montgomery's "A Day In The Life" for some far out Don Sebesky-arranged orchestral jazz-pop..
I just bought Mogwai's latest and the ...Chosen Darkness albumon Import. It's stressing my out having to absorb two albums. I need a good two weeks per album. Also, so many bands to see / miss / not hear / discover.
I mean Battles, what they like? Argh stress.
I buy these albums then try to condense them down into my synapses and if the slightest thing jars I hate it instantly ie Field Music - now I know why people over 40 only buy one cd a year :OLLOLLLOKNE"Q
Anytime I feel like this I stick on Lift To Experience's "Texas-Jerusalem Crossroads". Does the trick for me. Whatever that trick may be.
