why won't someone give me a radioticket or two for nothing?
DON'T PEOPLE KNOW WHO I AM?! (lol)
did I say that?
Robyn, you're such a doofus!
have i out-l33ted the mighty THEO? ?
It does work now. 'Ow queer...
That's what you need to tell yourself.
That Earls Court gig was so much less good than the other four I saw, and none of those four (barring maybe Glasto '97) looked anywhere near as good as the one on the Astoria live video.
...but the last time was when they were doing the Big Top tour thing... IN WARRINGTON.
Seeing them at Cardiff CIA was, like, AMAZING. Never-forget kinda moment, y'know...?
i've saw them was on the big top tour in victoria park in tower hamlets (ergh). was what made me a fan, had never really paid much attention to them before..
The two tent tour gigs I caught in Victoria Park were incredible. South Park was damn good, though damp.
the Astoria live video has Pop Is Dead on it - surely their artistic highpoint. I mean, c'mon... POP IS DEAD!!!!!!!!
I don't remember Pop is Dead being on it, but then I like Pop is Dead.
On the flip side it has Maquilladora live, even better than the awesome original version.
what Theo is saying is rubbish.
I've saw them on that Astoria video tour and I've seen them four times since and they've been great each time and the two times I saw them in 2002 were probably the best.
That Earl's Court gig on the last tour just totally took the wind out of my live Radiohead interest, I guess.
Way too many tracks off Hail to the Thief, tracks which aren't bad on record but just felt duff live. Seeing the set list you posted from earlier in this tour just made me even less bothered I wasn't seeing them.
I wouldn't care if they played nothing else.
Christ man, you're like so not into the good shit.
Electioneering. If they were deffo going to play that live on the 18th I'd be there with £500 in readies to give to a tout.
Well Electioneering, Planet Telex, My Iron Lung and You. If they were DEFINITELY going to play those. And Banana Co and Polyethylene. *THEN* I'd be there with my readies.
they're not likely to play at least three of them. You're just being an elitist fanboy.
but I'd love to see those ones live for the first time, in some cases.
Planet Telex live is so much better than the Bends version.
I also think they seem to play the Bends at the album speed these days. I'm sure they used to play it faster as befits any song played live.
To be completely honest I wouldn't be devastated if they played nothing from before OK Computer. Although I do really like fake plastic trees.
I think everything after the bends is a lot more "good" in terms of "shit". Or something.
I don't really know what my point was. errm.. Kid A is the best album...
is my favourite Radiohead song so I hope they play that and I've never seen them play Let Down before as they never used to play it.
climbing up the walls would be good too.
was the template used by Travis when they made the Man Who, so far as I can hear. I never cared much for it in the first place anyway. It's so woolly. The only good bit is the dual vocal lines on the final verse/chorus. Every track on OKC is about a million times superior to it.
Climbing up the Walls live is very good.
can die, for all I care. Probably my least favourite point on The Bends...
which renders your opinion invalid.
However, any real music fan will tell you Electioneering is the best on there...maybe second to Lucky.
Anyway, you're going to see BSS instead of Mission of Burma next weekend so what do you know?
like Paul Weller and Oasis, none of that Radio'ead bollocks.
and the last two times, at Glastonbury 2003 and Earls Court respectively, were simply fantastic.
That Glastonbury performance was nigh in perfection, just simply magnificent. Those big-top gigs were just nothing in comparison (to me at least), not least because I had to bribe a security guard to let us into the front standing bit.
typo + crap joke = shame
what happened there/their/they're ?
time to leave the house I think
HA HA HA HA HA!!! Wiiiiiiiiicked...
what the shit is up with everyone's keyboards today?
