... is the best lager I have tasted. What's your favourite lager?
Does De Koninck count as a lager?
But I do enjoy that.
well blonde Leffe should anyway.
Um, Heinekin is the best lager which is usually available.
Tiger beer as well, not the export stuff we get though.
Leffe isn't even close to lager in brewing or taste terms.
In fact Czech drinks are all good!
I also like Kroswice!
becks or corona.
I'm an ale man really though, speckled hen all the way.
or guiness.could murder one now.
but i mostly drink guinness nowadays. i would love one now, outside on the grass (it suddenly got really sunny here, how nice).
with a nice lime in the top....but i do agree with hannah....czech lagers and slovakian lagers are very nice....and dont give me a hangover the next day either
It's so so so so good.
Although the Bar Ha Ha in Muswell Hill charges £3.40 a pint.
This made it the most bitter pint I ever tasted.
had that kronenburg white beer...i think its a citrus sort of thing....havent tasted it but looks quite nice
is gorgeous - where sells that in Cardiff hun I'll meet you in there for a beverage on Saturday!
they do in Catcher and the Rye though
Canadian Honey Beer
Belle Vue Kriek
Catcher in the Rye has:
from Theo the alcohol king
and hoegaarden are tops.
Hoegaarden is the shizzle.
It's good stuff, although it's a blonde beer as well so does it count?
it's a wheat beer/white beer.
I know nothing...
always taste's a bit too floral to me.
I do like a nice pint of Fruli on a summers day.
there some legal wrangle going on with the name 'budvar' at the moment? over that one that budweiser make? i think there was a question on the pub quiz about it last week, but i wasn't listening.
about 80 years or something.
Japanese lagers = JOY!
Is the king of Beers
and Budvar, out of the easily available stuff.
Clcik on the beers and largers section. We do a big range.
Star is great but it's pure hangover in a glass.
I tend to drink it during the day, I rarely drink it when I wanna get pissed. ;-)
Grolsh is probably my favourite but I do love the odd pint of Staropramen when available.
Our local after-work place has Staropramen and it gets you mullered. Especially when you haven't had dinner.
I have to agree with Crablin
Budvar (although I also like Holstein and Red Stripe)
Neither Leffe blonde not hoegarden are lagers.
PS Lovely though Leffe blonde is, Leffe also make a stronger version, and beyond this is the incomparably brilliant Westmalle Tripel my extensively researched nomination for the 'best in the world' beer its 'blonde' its over 9% and its fabulous
lager and it cant be that bad because it is one I would drink
though, but it definately has the taste of one
Is that one?
rather unpleseant so I will not pass comment, obviously at some point in my life I have been obliged to try to get drunk on each of them.
PS one of the most amusing adverts I saw was in the flemish(dutchish) parts of belgium
There was a bilboard picture of a donkey drinking stella and urinating out heineken
(heineken is dutch and stella is belgium, brewed in the lovely university town of leuven) heineken has recently umphed up the alcahol content, but I doubt if its made much difference.
Summer = sol with a slice of lime in the bottleneck.
The best readily available lager is Budvar.
Gales did a one-off summer lager back in 2002 though, bottled only and that was, quite frankly, the best lager I've EVER tasted.
in my pub there is only one guy who ever drinks staropramen, meaning it's a bitch to pour and not as nice as it would otherwise have been. So yeah, more people should drink Staropramen.
