that little bono is so cute.
is it time for the Andrea Corr anecdote yet? All I can say is that is was a good job it wasn't Willie Thorne she 'went' with.
Laughs out loud.
that sees a link to some sort of cartoon thing it is?
Seriously, cartoons? Really?
it is? is it? wut
instead let's talk about GROWN UP MANLY THINGS. like football. and BEER. YEAH.
I don't get cartoons. Especially not now I'm old enough to read proper books and stuff.
as any other form of culture.
Just...baffles me a bit. Meh.
surely satire is always welcome.
I just don't find any amusement in cartoons. Sorry.
but he's no Andy Capp
he is the now and future DILBERT.
'Bono' should be a worse derogatory tem than 'dilbert'
That Charles Clarke....hes a right Bono
So does Prescott.
the world has actually found something less funny than Dilbert... Bono!
let's be grateful for that.
now lets see if this reply is ignored lol
and respond to guntrip by saying that This Life (or whatever it's called) in the Metro is less funny
but for different reasons.
doonesbury is dull, whereas This Life tries to make jokes but the writers just can't get the hang of this humour thing
in the Mirror is where is at. apolgies, my Dad was scum but always 'chuckled' over his prole paper at Dik Browne's 'comic' invention.
i 'roomed' next to a chap at University who was obsessed with Calvin & Hobbs - he was a twat, naturally
then you are slightly worse than a cabbage.
re: paper cartoons- I also yawn a lot at Steve Bell even thogh we're meant to nod knowingly at his lampooning of political leaders. He just can't draw very well.
Steve Bell isn't as good as he used to be, and I don't really rate Dilbert. But Perry Bible Fellowship? Doonesbury? The Far Side? Come on.
but then my workplace has become progressively more and more like Dilbert as time has gone on.
It now seems far less over the top than it used to...
I ignore everyone at work so I suppose if mine was to represent a cartoon it would have to be drawn by Harold Pinter
You know how Grange Hill seemed utterly unbelievable when you were in Primary School but when you went to Secondary School it seemed like it was sooo tame compared with the shit that really went on?
are you saying that you thought work would be like a droll 3 panel cartoon strip but its even tamer than that??
Am I being Darcus Howe today, but with a felt tip pen and colour paper?
You been playing with the bad kids again? Have you been smoking, Theodore? HAVE YOU?
in this case
...shut your faces you annoying bastards! :D
or Squirrel. Bad influences.
I've had to sit around with Sophie while she mutters 'cunt' and 'fuck' under her breath.
It gets to you after a while...
She's a menace. The Secret Curser.
(that sounds like an IT-led TechnoThriller novel)
I love you all especially those who are total cunts 24.7
anyone would think I was raised on a council estate or something.
