resulted in me winning $28 in a tournament. ZONINO!
should i quit work to become a pro yet?
so you always win in your first time, so then u get hooked
i was playing in a tournament against other people.
Did you cheat?
in the floppy drive. they'd never think of looking in there.
do you now actually own $28?
my balance on my poker account is up to $33
i find it good.
it's a lot simpler and obvious than partypoker and it's easier to take your money out and stuff like that.
I am rubbish at Poker. Well, I'm rubbish at all games.
Anyway, you can make money but if you want to go 'pro' you need to bet on Golf via US betting agencies.
I.e. so dull you may as well do a 'real' job.
If you start losing, just start chasing your losses and you'll be fine.
poker's not a game of chance though, if you're good, you'll win
how big a tournament was it? where'd you finish?
it was only a $4 pay-in tournament of 20 people.
i'm going to get my pot up to at least $70 before i start entering bigger ones...
to build up bank balance, play $5 ones
a while back and got absolutely battered. And I think of myself as a not bad poker player... Mmm.
once a fortnight with friends and mostly i finish in the top three.
i reckon i've taken about £200 in total off them in the last 9 months or so.
i'd like to think i was alright at poker
and lost all 3.
I think I'm going to be good at it
poker night, I'd gladly come round and take all of your cash. Woohoo!
Or maybe there's a highly unlikely scenerio you'd take mine.
to scotland, id be more than happy to beat you all
i lost a whole load of pasta.. :(
'a friend' £60 last year. After I'd lent him the money my brain registered him saying 'I'm sitting up till 5am playing internet poker then having to go to my work'. He said that before I lent him the money, pretty fucking dumb thing for me to do. He made one payment by choice then I had to chase him for all others. He still owes me about £8 and has just removed himself from my life. So, yeah, go for it, it means you can borrow money from idiots like me then dump us from your life. There's probably also negative aspects to it.
i don't think poker's the game for you dude...
drunkeness and poker definitely don't mix. that's the only bad thing about the game.
you kinda need to suck all the fun out of it, of course if it ends up in you winning loads of dosh then its worth it. and its impossible to drink and win at poker
then its an even playing field, just make sure they get drunk before you do
used to play it but the free roll tournaments have about 1000-2000 people enter. if you get in the top 20 you get like 1-10 dollars which can then be used to go into a real tournament.
i won one once but it took 3-5 hours to complete and was pretty boring.
10 pounds so far this week playing (live) poker at lunchtime. i am quite pleased with this, since we play fairly small stakes. ive made twenty quid in a day before, but this is more satisfying cos i made it through lots of very good, consistent poker rather than playing a rush of good cards pretty well and things going my way.
i'd be able to (hopefully) make a nice bit of extra cash every week...
