it is boring. so far.
though i had a nice chinese take-away for dinner.
london is better.
there were loads of nice pubs to get wasted on Guinness?
potatoes, gingerness, monobrows, pipebombs or rampant stupidity!
what a missed opportunity for racism.
although it's not universal.
i sort-of have one :*(
i know these things.
But it's all a bit stupid isn't it?
but im in london with only £3.50 to my name till my next student loan... and im having a pretty gash time too. Londons only fun with money...
but having been back in london for 3 weeks already and having so little money does limit my possibilities somewhat.
Dublin is wonderful.
There's clearly something wrong with you.
Just walk around looking at the buildings, or go inside them: The cathedral, for example. Go inside the grounds of Trinity College - go to the museum in the college: it has one of the original proclamations of independence. Dublin is full of history if you look hard enough and are interested: Go see the bullet holes in the post office where the bullets from the British army were fired at James Connolly and his colleagues who were occupying the building.
Go for a tour of the Guinness brewery - it's huge.
Take the Dart to Howth and wander around the promentary and see the lighthouse, take the Dart in the other direction down to Bray and stroll along the cliff top path by the sea. Take the local bus that goes right up into the Wicklow Mountains and walk across them (not all the way, obviously).
the jamesons factory
and put your hand up for testing at the end.
dont be polite about it.
so, don't mean to be rude, but i know where to go.
and i used to live in the wicklow mountains.
In what sense?
I liked to take the bus up to the mountains then walk through the forest and then catch a bus to Bray
that's the hotel we owned.
bray is awful. i hate bray. though i used to go there every saturday to the cinema. such is the life of a 12 year old.
is not Dublin though
but the point is that it is accessible by local buses and so, by the rules of how to determine whether soemwhere is in a city, it is in Dublin.
