I'm so weak.
Eli Roth seems to be only concerned by his ( very good ) idea but doesn't really know what to do with it.
For anyone who has seen 70/80s gore movies, it's actually quite soft...
stuff like takashi miike movies, texas chainsaw, devils rejects and various gore movies of the 70s/80s that i'm a fan of.
but i've also heard it tries to emulate them without any of the wit, style, or finesse that made most of them so watchable.

nasty taste !
the new hills have eyes for the same reason
as the film goes on there are just moments thrown in that are designed to shock. i hated the film to be honest and if i was slovakian i wouldnt really be happy with the depiction of the country

by the sounds of it
and thats nasty!
