What does everyone think of this place?
but that was my first thought too
I got an email off them and for my birthday I get a starter and main for £9.99 and a free dessert for ame and as many friends - and was trying to decide whether to take them up on the offer or not!
As I'm going home for the weekend and there is a TGI Fridays in Swansea...
but in a different shaped trough to say, Pizza Hut.
will that do?
That was good!
I probably won't be taking them up on their offer unless my Mum wants to go to the one in Swansea on the weekend!
catherine tate show.. i'm pretty sure her annoying waitress character was based on tgi friday's staff. i went there only once and it was pretty much like that.
at lunchtime used to be okay.
they're no better than any other chain of resaurant/diner style places though.
and there's not a great vegetarian selection.
should only be frequented by people with a burnt out car in their garden
wear loads of badges which i find so annoying, and they're so in your face which is supposed to be fun and friendly. it's very american.
at the weekend and at 11.45 there was a queue, A QUEUE for Pizza Hut - bad enough but not because it hadn't opened, but because it was already FULL at 11.45 AM. Sometimes mortality seems like a really good idea when you see things like this
a sombrero from some clown of a waiter at TGI's in Bluewater. That's the only good thing they've ever done for me.
i love it. yeah sure, it's ridiculously overpriced but it's amusing.
i like the food, there are good cocktails, you can ignore the annoying waiters.
in Liverpool is probably like seeing the pyramids for the first time - especially the 'salad' 'cart' - my eyes were cartoon pop out when i first came across that badboy
But I gave one some badges for her shirt. If you see a blonde girl working at the one in Basildon* with a 'Faith' era Cure badge next to an enamel picture of Stalin, you now know where they came from.
*It might have been Basildon. It was definitely in Essex.
about £700, don't they?
Also, if you go for your birthday the waiters make you stand on a chair and the whole place sings happy birthday to you. It's horrible.
I would not shed a tear.
a tear if a restaurant you did like was burned to the ground though?
'What's wrong Alan, why are you crying?'
'They just burned down Old Mama Goodhands. It was my favourite'
if they torched the Dane Valley Cafe in Margate. They do a cracking fry up.
torched...burning down...fry up...
yes i would cry.
NOOOO!! NOT KFP!!!!
It was fingerlingling good!!
