When is the new series starting!??!
I can't wait.
got why people found this funny, it was alright at best.
It's the worst programme on TV by a considerable margin.
a poor man's Teachers. Teachers is shit.
the Green Wing negativity!
Teachers was alright for the first series or two.
what about tittytittybangbang?
i'm looking forward to it too. it's FAR better than teachers, how DARE you parsefone.
last series, when the scottish woman was wearing those huge fake arms, i spat food all over the room.
"You have to watch the first few before it starts getting funny...and once youre used to it it is amaze..."
This is the same sort of argument people use with beer. You have to get into it. I never know if this is because your taste needs to mature or stagnate.
Green Wing would benefit from some jokes.
love Green Wing, compared to the usual crap thats on it's amazing.
4.0% of the time.
...I never liked it. I hate it more when people act like I'm mental because I don't find it funny.
It's backlash time. Series 2 will be panned.
It involves laughing.
Something you don't get from watching Green Wing.
do you find funny 'South park', 'Jackass'?
south park is glorious.
if so LOL
Most times I wasn't laughing though.
In related news the doctor with the long blode hair looks like DiS poster TheShapeOfPunkToCome.
The really 'random' camera work pisses me off.
However, I did LOL at the first episode evah, which I watched the other night. But only once... only once.
it looked like an overlaboured combination of jam, teachers and spaced or something. i fairly enjoyed it, and could imagine bothering to watch it, but i certainly couldnt love it.
like south park really, but green wing is still good. I was just trying to distract people from dissing Green Wing...
who thinks spaced is a bit crap?
simon pegg/nick frost - not that funny really.
really like Green Wing, especially the mad Scottish woman, and it has Dan from Alan Partridge in it as well.
then I have to stick my whole life on the line and make the point that the Mighty Boosh is UNfunny. With emphasis on the -un. 1st episode I saw I laffed 4 times. I have since watched 5/6 other episodes and laughed a grand total of once. There, I said it - you may call me a cunt.
i saw one episode a few months ago and thought it was fucking laboured shit. ive since had every one of my friends (almost literally) tell me that its the best thing ever, and i've given it more a chance, and now find it fucking hilarious. it keeps me amused at length and then makes me cackle like an insaniac. and the labouredness turns out to be part of the effect.
Flavia - good call.
is very unique. I didn't like it at first but I'm enjoying the recent re-run.
i think Pongo's got some sweets from the tuck shop."
its kicking off on the 30th of march
i.e. a week tomorrow
that the dvd of series 1 comes out on the 4th of April.
only 15 quid???? Awesome!
it is nine episodes, with other stuff thrown in, all are about an hour long, so 15 quid aint bad.
Green Wing is my favourite comedy of last year.
Teachers is not a comedy - it is one of those TV shows that is neither comedy nor drama - a dead show.
Much of the comedy in Green Wing is comedy that older people understand.
The Scottish counsellor is one of the best comic characters ever in any TV show.
could you elaborate on this? i'm intrigued by it.
and am happily awaiting new series, I think they've been advertising it a bit far in advance though. I'm bored of waiting
