and Dominic Diamond.
Best kids show ever?
the room....in the room you'll find a box....in the box you'll find a key
The Games Master scared me though...
It went well shit though later on. It was only good when i only had games for the snes on once the new gen of consoles came out there was too much. Simpler times eh.
Games Master was brilliant. Even when it kept changing it was still good, except Dominic Diamond was replaced by Dexter Fletcher, he was rubbish.
naff. But then Diamond returned. Wicked.
I MET JAMES POND!
Yeah, I was genuinely upset when it ended.
Also, Meths... I think you're talking about Knightmare. Also wicked, but with less cutting sarcasm from Dominic Diamond.
it was an inpression of that sky at night dude. the cheats bit?
All the kids would turn up and ask questions then he'd chat on about it. Patrick Moore is also the don.
Do they repeat Games Master on challenge TV or anything? They should. Might start a campaign about it...
you'd probably have more luck getting them to repeat Games World - remember that? :D
Nope. Unless you're refering to that terrible computer game programme with a shed and Andy Craine.
sky 1 every weeknight at 6pm. each night was a different show. the best one was the monday night one, which featured kids playing games against the "videators", who were super players with their own costumes / personalities - a bit like professional wrestling, but with super mario kart.
the best one was "the executioner". he'd come in head to toe in black and usually destroy whichever poor bastard kid had ended up having to face him.
Gladitaors, only with computer games and kids.
Damn Sky channels getting all the good programmes.
according to wikipedia, apparently david walliams played one of the videators. hahaha.
i think most of them were magazine journlists.
also, they once did a special featuring the boyband let loose. that was ACE because they all sucked and clearly had no idea what they signed up for.
he also plays the xylophone
sorry. i'll shut up now.
I remember when they had kids playing Pinball Dreams and they were rubbish, i could have wiped the floor with them if i was on it.
i didn't get out much as a child.
I always wanted to go on there and play other kids at Speedball II: Brutal Deluxe. I'd have kicked everyone's arse.
I can't believe they got Patrick Moore on it. So random.
I'm not convinced that Patrick Moore entirely knew what was happening. They may have left him in the dark about the bit where they superimpose robot parts onto his head...
he seems to have been about 90 for a very long time now..
but he's slowly getting more hunched over and his face is kind of shrivelling up quite a lot.
that you can't really understand him when he talks. Also, the Sky at Night is now filmed at his house as he's too old / ill to travel to the studio.
God bless him, he's alllllright.
that is all
Dominic Diamond is my hero. Tell me more. Does he make funny comments all the time? Does he pepper his conversation with social commentry combined with anger at the world to make a potent combination of entertainment and relevence?
Does he still wear that Red blazer?
he's pretty friendly and chatty most of the time.
i've resisted the urge to ask him for a golden joystick so far.
I wish I was Scottish.
i'm sure you can listen online.
6am - 10am though.
