I use to hate it, it's now my favourite font. How strange.
but rubbish on screens.
for the dyslexic / learning to read type person.
but I used to like Comic Sans. Now I've grown up and use mainly Verdana.

i wanted to agree with wishpig. so i clicked reply on her post saying that serifs are COOL. cos they are. but now it looks like I am agreeing with dove. which I amn't.
I seriously don't think this one is an issue of me being a retard and not knowing how to use the system properly.
Courier New is totally where it's at.
I quite like Century Gothic as well.

I love trebuchet (which is why it's on ISD).
Times New Roman is just annoying. But recently I learned how to pick a differnt Serif font for the internet browser default and I feel cleaner now.
Book Antiqua is the serif font of choice. Times New Roman just bores the shit out of me.
but Times New Roman is what me lecturers like.

Apparently, typefaces were one of Stanley Kubrick's favourite things in the whole world. He and his assistant would spend days looking through books full of fonts to choose which one to use for his next film...
I'm a Trebuchet (size 10) man through and through.
I just love it on screen and on print.
