how long do you pursue things before you just give up?
ten seconds usually.
but that's bad.
if its something important!
in important things which you care about, everyone gives up if they don't give it shit don't they?
you believe in then you fight till the end!
Fight for what you want... and believe in... if it's love, then even more exciting.. If it's the remote control, sometimes it is better to walk away.
threading a needle about 10 seconds, completing a round the world trip about 80 days.
then I give up very quickly.
Otherwise I know there's a chance I might actually get somewhere with the task in hand and keep at it! ;-)
Task in hand?
Keep at it?
Missus! OO-er! Have a banana! Etc!
there's a job or career or something that you really want to do, but you kept getting rejected, which means that you've spent a LOT of time preparing and getting all your shit together, going to interviews etc, things like that, and have periods of despair and feeling rubbish when the inevitably rejections come around - how long do you stick at it? hyperthetically of course
for feedback about why you're being rejected? whether it's a job, a girl, whatever explanations help you move on and improve
If it's something you really really want keep going, forever, you'll get there eventually.
its someone else, but there are things about their situation which resonate quite strongly with me in regards to other things. sorry for being cryptic! i just hope people do get their in the end, the worst thing about being rejected for stuff is that it turns all the work into a total waste of time
