the guitarist/drummer looks like sadpunk
is by far my favourite gig of the year so far
it was so joyous and uplifting
me and my mate were about 2 or 3 rows back in front of the wee keyboard to the right where were you CC ?
and how did you like the working mens club vibe before they started ?
the brudenall social club. the members get angry if you use the members bar, rather than the entertainment bar.
to try all of those horrible-looking cocktails above the bar in the brudenell.
silver mt zion there = one of my best gigs ever.
it was amazing! one of the only bands i've seen where i haven't got fed up with a long set, i just wanted them to keep creating those beautiful sounds.
there's so many venues like that in leeds, though, that's partly why i love the music scene here.
i was in front of the keyboard, too, probably about 6 or 7 back, i must have been right near you!
i was with a tallish balding guy with a beard and a small latino girl, how could you miss us?!
latino girls again? i thought you were over that...
i was stood with a really tall guy with long hair (me being shorter and having whats basically a mullet, and a bright blue thisgirl shirt on)
i even danced to a few numbers on my own !
and i usually never dance
they were brilliant... by the "encore"(?) my mind had gone blank about what else they might play - but i didn't want them to stop!
the YEAH!s during its all gonna break
counting in ibi dreams of pavement
clapping along to stars & sons
anthems for a seventeen year old girl
when they all joined in singing the chorus to almost crimes
was possibly the funniest and simultaneously the most confusing thing i've ever seen at a gig.
room size? full up? sound?
did they play shampoo suicide? (i've never seen them play it but i really want to).
isn't 'bandwitch' amazing?
big working mens club
with suprisingly good stage/dancefloor area
and nice and full.
think of a slightly bigger brudenel (or woodhouse) liberal club.
the sound was generally great but for a moment it cut out to only the left channel for some reason.
the sadpunk resemblence :)
yes i agree, i can't remember a better gig in ages.
did you get a hug from the lead singer? i did :D
her hair was VERy special! was it big and bunchy? and she has the sweetest voice ever.
and she's HOTTTTT.
silly faces. and his hat was a bit silly when i saw him.
i liked the drummers beard. plus he = one of the best drummer i've ever seen
i didn't get a hug :(
can i marry her now?
from comanechi? or the vietnamese waitress? how fickle you are :P
and all welcome to be my wife.
none will :(
i keep glancing at commander cool's post and assuming it's about bearsuit, on your special day...
