very wrong, that's how wrong.
John Candy is rubbish.
I like John Goodman though.
i thought i was gonna spew up my entire body or something.
then ill have candy all the time
He was a hero.
THAT'S THE ONE RIGHT THERE. THE DUDE OWNED!
which is/was a shame - he made me smile - john goodman is just a voice on irritating cartoons
He was one of my favourite actors and I used to love his films when I was younger, even the crap ones (see Who's Harry Crumb).
The Big Lebowski though, he was amazing in that.
and in O Brother, Where Art Thou?
and uncle buck was shit. so was cool runnings.
the version i saw had no john goodman in it.
uncle buck is crap anyway
John Candy is in many poor films but he himself is not poor. He was ace.
One of the best character actors ever. So believeable in every role he plays.
Uncle Buck = fantastic
Planes, Trains = Amazing
Cool Runnings = :D
He's way better than that song Candy.
he was in that
he was in the brass band that gave macauley culkin's mum a lift home in the first one.
he's a better actor than JOn SNow
Hold on Im ill arent i?
of the travelling band that gave the mum a lift home.
a polka band
home alone > home alone 2
home alone 3 kicks all their asses though.
Not Splash too, the sequel to Splash, just Splash.
planes, trains and automobiles
silence-r speaks sense again.
He's also in Brewster's Millions, Little Shop of Horrors, Vacation, Volunteers, The Blues Brothers and JFK.
Planes, Trains and Automobiles is good.
I love it, loads.
that's what i meant. john candy = big fat awesome
Little Shop of horrors?
in Chicken Little
it's nostalgia talking, because you're all OLD.
not attacked every single film he's been in but instead pointed out that he is one dimensional - plays the same character every fucking time. extremely loud fat guy - does that count as funny? surely shouldn't count as a career? just for the sake of argument, mind.
i was hoping not to need an argument, his rubbishness is obvious.
more often than not. But he's so good at it, the big, fun, warm guy who everyone wants as their best mate/uncle/manager.
the only reason people find him endearing is because he doesn't appear a threat. You'd like him as your best mate because he won't steal your wife. He's funny, but you don't have to get jealous because of his weight. Where are the slim and trim comedy equivalents? - they are all mean spirited as it's the only way to compensate for them not being supposedly physically unattractive (ie fat). this has nothing to do with his acting, more to do with 'society', man. but you could say he coasted on this easy stereotype. but I won't because I like a lot of his films because of him.
Oh yes oh yes.
in Planes, Trains & Automobiles. And his cameo in JFK is ace as well.
John Candy = yes.
