I just resigned. 1 month to find a new job.
This is fucking scary.
what was up?
i envy you.
intensely unhappy to the point of not being able to sleep for fear that the only thing I have to look forward to on the other side of unconsiousness is my utter shit of an office drone job.
I actually told my manager that I wanted to leave last august, but things transpired against my exit. (boss' nan was v.ill etc etc, so I stayed on a bit longer, and a bit longer. But Im just so unhappy I couldnt do it any more)
so thats the easy part done. Now wheres a good place on t'internet to find jobs in london and brighton?
i was thinking more along the lines of the guardian wesbite, that kinda stuff....ideally one for under achieving geography graduates....
It's normally better to find the great job, *then* resign from the bad job
cheers for the advice :P
I'd be looking in Soho...
also google seyner/benson, they're a good recruitment agency...
we've had thisn before. gashwrecker does not wreck gashes. that's cuntripper or fannybuster you must be thinking of.
anyway, congratualtions on the march in and quit, gotta be a good feeling. the walk out is worse.
for the misguided support. Im dreading telling my girlfriend.
but look in Guardian Media on Mondays. Sweet.
I too want to quit my awful, soul destroying office job. It sucks so much. I'm desperately looking constantly. Bah. Need more cash too.
about teaching in long run, so might see if i can get a teaching assistant position and then maybe a few bar shifts or a weekend day in call centre/ type thing to make up extra cash....but cheers for the websites some look quite useful...
