You are a sicko. They're a SWEET food. They should be enjoyed with marge or butter, melted into them after they've been briskly toasted.
You could maybe do it with a teacake since they don't have that glazing.
stop getting me all 'eastered' up
I'm off to Tesco! NOW!
Hot cross buns need only toasting and butter.
It's like people who put cheese on crumpets, disgusting.
I was apprehensive at first but now believe it is something that needs to be explored.
Question: Why can't they breed bald chickens covered in cheese - that would save time for everyone. Right?
The joys of fruit-and-cheese combinations are well documented. Brie and grape! Wensleydale and cranberry! Camembert and apple! And my favourite, sweet, toasted, raisined hot cross buns with a thick slice o' mature cheddar. And a hot cup of tea.
I'm hungry. I'd buy and eat said combo now to try but they confiscated our toaster because its LETHALLY DANGEROUS

Honey and cheese?
Get a grip man.
jobsworth bastards. They also regulary tell us that if they find the door with Fire Door Keep Shut propped open again that'll be a 2 grand fine. They obviously aren't thinking of our safety having to carry trays of tea and open doors simultaneously.
I wish it was an open fire, then I could have a special toasting fork. I might try it we must have a metal bin somewhere...
The new building has no provisions in the insurance for even a FUCKING MICROWAVE.
Have you tried buying a sandwich in the city? You could afford it once a week if you had a 22 Grand Job. :-/
but spaghetti hoops with bread is just wrong.
all kinds of microwave foods and you can heat last night's food whatever it may be.
Which makes me do a ---> :-S
which made me do a :-D
hot cross buns are SWEET. cheese is SAVOURY.
What's with these mutually exclusive sweet-savoury procrastinators? Have they not been served cheese and preserves before? Pork and apple source, or turkey and cranberry? SWEET AND SAVOURY, dammit.
but cheese shouldn't go with sweet things, full stop.
My mum likes toast with jam & cheese.
SICK. AND. WRONG.
I kid you not. Lovely
ginger biscuits with cheese!
and cheese as the butter, and a nice cup of cheese.
