Bomberman gets my vote.
all the way.
I bummed that game.
Street Fighter 2 Turbo
Secret of Mana
Illusion of Time
Donkey Kong Country
Secret of Mana
the big rocket launcher type thing you put on your shoulder. The games were pretty crap, shooting moles or something but the gun looked the business.
it was called the 'nintendo scope'. and a couple of the games were well cool! would probably have been easier to just have a handgun type thing like on the original NES though.
street fighter 2
secret of mana
multiplayer super bomberman
Kevin Keegan's Player Manager
Zelda III (greatest game on any console ever)
Kick Off 3. The prince among football games in the mid 90s. You could score every time by shooting low from the edge of the box, and for some reason Inter Milan wore white shirts and pink shorts but it was still fantastic.
street fighter two yes!!
My dad's friend lent it to us and i cried when i had to give it back.
i forgot about that one.
Zelda was also awesome.
best thing about was you could something ridiculous like 8 players sent off, and then the game wouldn't let you get any more players sent off, so you could foul ALL YOU WANTED :D
i never had a SNES so my experience is limited, however:
super mario world
super mario kart
various final fantasy titles
1. MARIO KART
2. Street Fighter 2
3. Zelda III
4. Mario World
5. Super Tennis
By a mile.
i've been out of the emulation loop for a while. what SNES emulators work on XP?
it's what i used at home anyway...
my flatmate is well into his games and has emulators of almost everything on his pc. he also owns Steel Battalion on Xbox - the controller is pretty much the size of his room.
he's shown me sooooo many lost classics. Sin & Punishment on N64 anyone?
i like zsnes. i couldn't remember if when i played (and almost completed) chrono trigger it was on my current PC or my ancient Win95 P166 when I still had that.
I shall investigate...
goes for me too.
it still kicks the shit out of any other racing game.
.... i'm going to play on my snes tonight.
gamestation in wood green was trying to flog a copy of SNES Secret of Mana for £59.99 recently!
though this is a very strange coincidence as last night i had a dream about my snes, and how i suddenly found about 15 games for it. brilliant!
a bad game for the SNES. so it is a tough choice. all been mentioned already really
I've been going through a Snes kick during the last few months, and can say, hand on my heart, it's a fine machine with great games.
The greatest of these games are
1. Secret of Mana
2. Street Fighter Alpha 2
3. Super Bomberman 2
4. Super Mario Kart
5. Yoshi's Island
6. Star Fox
I'm thinking about getting mine modded by Console Passion. £25 for fullscreen 60hz mode and to play games from any region. That's a sound investment, in my book.
