  • oh god

an 'acquaintance' of mine says "lol" all the time and i cringe every time he does it.

i only say it when i'm acting at the height of irony.

    • Only

when on the phone to Southern people, I accidentally slip a LOL out every now and then.

      • I don't use 'lol'

as a rule. For internet talk or anything as a matter of fact. I do type LIKE I speak though. mazinthespaz drunk talk is pretty spot on. Although one must declare that one does not come on here with a drunken mannor anymore.

          • likewise... but i'm trying to wean myself off

such language, because it becomes scarily habit-forming, and before you know it, it's all your vocabulary consists of.

the same applies to calling crap things gay.

            i am going to STOP.

            -gen- @rapscalion-jones | 13 Jan '06, 18:02 | X

          • i use wut too :(

and sometimes i'm guilty of a jokey 'lol' or 'rofl'.
i've been known to crack up every time someone says 'oh really?' too.
