We have to leave on 15 March. Fucker mysterious landlord. Boo.
I've just advertised it.
It's fate :-D
have you been evicted??! legally or illegally? tenants have so many rights it's untrue....
Fancy moving North?
they've given us two months notice :(
I do fancy moving North but I want to stick with my housemates and I don't think they'd be too happy with that.
North is better!
one of my old landlords gave us seven weeks notice over the phone. at the time i neglected to tell them that it wasn't legally binding as it needs to be eight clear weeks and in writing, as i figured it would buy us some more time if we needed it...
YOU HAVE BEEN EVICTED. PLEASE LEAVE THE BIG BROTHER HOUSE!
It's the truth.
that was a great night with you, me and Ken, wasn't it?
your house cost way too much anyway. come join the cheap seats. :)
What a bastard. One of my colleagues and her flatmates are leaving their 3 bedroom flat in Bethnal Green at the end of February if that's any help? But then you'd have to live in cheery Bethnal Green.
if not, she's probably not gonna go for it...
she could. Otherwise it's unlikely.
give you a reason?
before i stop being flippant and actually start making useful suggestions - when's the leaving party gonna be then? ;)
on my birthday!
My birthday is the 19th!
combined eviction/Claire's birthday party at my house then? I'll arrange it soon.
haven't been to a rockin house party in aaages. you'll need djs and a soundsystem an empty fridge and a VIP room an lots of happy people... (who will help you clear up the next day!)
that's it - March 18th, everyone to FROG for big birthday celebrations!
the WILL HAVEN gig? rarrr!
Will Haven in London? That might ruin my plans a bit as I'm sure people I know will be going to that. FROG afterwards though!
do they kick out after gigs in the mf, or dya reckon we can hide in the toilets and get into frog for free?
I might well come to this :)
Looking forward to it!
that she's got to 'stay in' that night.
nut supervising to fall back on.
make your own bloody tea.
my first born child 'Qwerty' to make it easier to type its name.
zxcvbnm is unpronouncable.
for vegan vampires?
DON'T start talking about fucking Duckula. I hate that duck...
Your life is EMO.
no it's not! I'm quite chirpy and happy still. I'm doing good.
FEEL THE CALL OF 'REAL' LONDON, NOT THAT CRAPPY SOUTH CRAPPY CRAP.
i'm imagining colin shouting that from the north bank of the thames over to the south bank.
I like my crappy south crappy crap.
You northeners with your "tourist sights" and "areas without gang violence". I don't know.
'tourist sites' and 'areas without gang violence'. I think they all want me to move to the areas with crack dens.
Right, so if I WAS going to move North-ish, where should I live (that has a tube station)?
I'll be working at one of:-
for Camden or Kings Cross
Canary Wharf - Sarf Lahndahn
don't go there!
was it you who was going to fix the Tube? Why didn't we get a big announcement about this? Did I miss a meeting?
who may be fixing the tube
I'm planning to move to London, though I have applied for some jobs elsewhere.
I'm thinking the most likely things is me ending up in London though.
It's really nicely priced, quiet, low crime and 12 minutes from Camden! Banging!
no more than half an hour on the Tube to Leicester Square.
You can get to Leicester Square in 30 mins from Harringay. For your friend who works in Kensington though it's like an hour.
she doesn't work there. She goes to uni there, so she wants to save money by walking. Although the money we'll save on rent might pay for her Tube, so we'll see...
archway is usually a good bet, lots and lots of good quality big houses around there and pretty cheap - our five bedroom place was less than £100/each a month.
