TIME TRAIN TO ANCIENT ROME, AGENT ARTHURS JUNGLE JOURNEY, AGENT ARTHERS ARTIC ADVENTURE, GHOST IN THE MIRROR. I always had to use the clues or answers coz im stupid, I foolishly tried an andvanced level one once.
I had forgotten all about these.
Agent Arthur was great. I think he had a dog too, but I might be thinking of Tin Tin.
I still have my Usbourne book of the future from the late 70s at home. It's a funny read, I can tell you! :-D

i remember the Aztec one so well, a jungle and a temple and stuff
where you had to navigate your way through a haunted house over the course of two pages, that used to be my favourite reading in primary school.
Actually most of them had navigating through haunted houses/mansions/under-sea temples...
