It's probably been discussed before, but there are so many and they all have lots of wonderful offers...
is best, you get a discount off the DVDs you actually buy from there then. Plus it's not done by lovefilm like all the rest.
We were with sainsburys but they got worse and worse...
I use them a lot for buying anyway. Anyone disagree?
I use lovefilm and have had no problems with them. They post the stuff out quickly which is the main thing. I'd recommend them - I'm hard pushed to find many titles they don't have.
But one question - how do rental sites that claim to have no 'rental queues' allocate the DVDs?
screenselect were pretty good, but i only did a three week trial. i'm probably going to go back to amazon in the next couple of weeks.
i'd tour around as many free trials as you possibly can before settling on one. films for free innit!
is it as simple as they send you the DVD you want to rent (which will then arrive a couple of days later) and you then have it for a week and have to send it back? Or is there more that i'm missing out on?
maybe it is that simple. But the more people who use the service - the less likely you are to get the first DVD you want. Hence the need for a rental queue with lovefilm - so I've got like 80 odd films on a list and I put them in the order that I would like them but realise it's unlikely they will be sent to me in that exact order. Although they have introduced a fast track system whereby certain titles will be guaranteed as your next rental. I just don't understand how other companies manage to eliminate a rental queue in anything other than name.
my eyes are really playing up - apologies thought you were talking to me
Did it work, is it really really free? Cos i'm so tempted to sign up...
You can do the old 'sign up for 6 free choices, keep'em till 2030, return freepost, but never actually sign up or part with ACTUAL MONIES'. Mwahahahahaha.
