I'd print that picture out, blow it up and call it "Untitled (Contemporary still life with tartan scarf)". so there.
it would have been totally irrelevant to my course.

'thats a huge thing of stuff you have there'

'i like the WOOD of those chairs'
i am truly awful at this
I particularly like the deadened feel to the jaffa cakes, a phallus mercilessly packaged, labelled and childishly coloured, a potent symbol of the defeat of masculinity in today's capitalist society. Its fellow the ruler fails to measure up, the persistent subconscious disappointment we feel towards our companions in life conveyed poignantly; and yet, despite this hollow victory, the jaffa cakes do not reach the fruit bowl, the realisation of its unspoken sexual desires. Into this bleak equation is added the tartan object in the far corner, deliberately left without purpose. A coat, suggesting an escape never realised? Or should we concentrate on the implication of its history, a realisation that no desperate flight to Scotland nor any other foreign destination will correct the blight found at the heart of the modern despair?
that's exactly what I was gonna say.
would be even better if they were tescos/morrisons' jaffacakes rather than mcvities though.
mcvities = overrated.
