think he's pretty spot on, i can't stand Eriksson either.
I would have worded it slightly differently though
I used to like Eriksson.
Now it transpires that he doesn't actually do anything...
why are the FA paying him so much, for nothing?
Thats what I mean. He just comes across as an inarticulate moron.
At this stage (so close to the world cup) I don't see the point in comments like this. I'm not huge fan of Eriksson but at the same time this just isn't helpful. I feel so sorry for Shaun Wright-Phillips.
Inarticulate means that you can't express what you feel...
His feelings towards Eriksson seem perfectky clear to me.
Going into allegations about Eriksson's private life isn't a particularly effective way to criticise his management skills in my opinion.
"He's corrupting all the women in the office at the FA. It seems what he's doing is s****ing as many women as he can."
You honestly think there aren't better ways of expressing your opinions on football? I know exactly what inarticulate means and I stand by what I said.
He doesn't seem to have much basis for his opinions other than prejudice and frustration.
just wish wrighty had convinced his son to follow his footsteps and sign for arsenal, then his kid could possibly become an immense player too.
Wright would be a brilliant coach i think, not a manager, just coaching and on teh sidelines, a la Dean Saunders at Newcastle.
with the points Wrighty made. Eriksson isn't the most passionate manager ever.
But I also agree that perhaps this isn't the most helpful time to voice such opinions, right before a world cup.
he is possibly the most passionless manager EVER! I can't think of any positive traits he has. Tactically inept, can't seem to motivate a team as an international manager should, why players such as Owen Hargreaves are constantly in the squad, i don't know
the fact that Eriksson is utterly emotionless, but Ian Wright comes across as the biggest tosser ever. I remember seeing him on the English version of The Apprentice, where the contestants had to go around to celebrites asking for personal items to be auctioned off for charity. It took him ages to agree, and when he did, he gave them a golfbag, whereas that gardener Dermot whatshisname gave them a motorbike. Whats more, Wrighty had a signed photo of Dennis Bergkamp behind him, surely they're still in touch.
i was hoping someone slightly more literate could have spoken out against Eriksson, like ME!
is the word you're looking for
looking for any words thanks.
it was printed in the sun. they can make just about anyone seem as inarticulate and retarded as they are.
also, ian wright is the best pundit on tv and i'm sure in time he'll make the best manager. he's got overflowing amounts of passion for the game.
is a moron. he was a great player but these days he is just a somplete clown. famous for actually doing not much at all....have you seen him on they think its all over, the guy just isnt funny
eriksson is a wet fish mind you!
All Wright on the Night and Friends Like These.
The guys a presenting genius!
Seriously though, he's alright in my books. He just loves England, nothing wrong with that. Unlike that Hanson *grrrr*
was the nuts with the exception of the host. I loved that End Game where it was like bowls, but you had to land the balls in the spotlight, and the "bowling green" wasn't straight, it went up and down. You had to see it to understand, but that game owned all other Saturday night TV around the time.
with the revolving thing and you had to get the ball through the bit that was cut out of it.
Do you wanna bet on it...?
He's one of the most important players of his generation, and he's just about the only pundit who isn't afraid to show he cares.
