is this going too far, maybe im mis-reading the article? They are going to ban internet guitar tabs?
Guitar tabs are peoples interpretations anyway...
Theyre generally wrong.
guitar tabs is more how to play something, not the whole sheet music. I think.
If they ban guitar tab then the world has gone utterly mad.
Seriously, record labels are such fucking boners.
the lyric sheets as well. So no more lyric quizes on DIS? Don't write anything down. i think some of those words may have been used in a song i have, albeit in a different order.
What is wrong with me looking up the chords to songs I want to learn to play? How am I damaging the record industry?
this has always been illegal but they've never really been arsed to try and stop it.
as people can claim it's a form of stealing, but how can learning how to play 'Enter Snadman' take any money away from anyone.
stupid Stupid STUPID S*T*U*P*I*D
they are arguing it is taking money away from the producers of songbooks. "People want to learn to play this song - then pay over the odds for a, usually, unauthenticated by the band score".
At's the same heavy handed argument as "you like one song by this artist, well, you can't buy just that song you have to buy the overpriced filler songs filled compliation album".
Record company execs always talk like that - i know.
What bit of it do you think is okay, then?
is acceptable. Also, downloading because a record company asks £4.99 for a three track single I feel is the sonsumer fighting back. IN YOUR FACE EMI.
the "consumer" fighting back
but not now - only aunties by you song tabs for you when yr 15 (I have smiths hits and The Bends)
I have it somewhere.
any about chords and stuff all from The Black Album tab book.
I don't have The Bends either.
It's just the way my trousers hang.
SOMEBODY SUE ME, QUICK!!
I'm all for it.
