Why is there a light in the fridge and not in the freezer?
for the components, I'd guess. Also, I've never seen a freezer where a single light would be much use as they're designed in closed comparmentalisation.

It's not really a 'fact' as such, but only the other day I learnt that the back of your fridge is hot because it sucks all of the warm air out, as opposed to blowing cold air in. But as I'm somewhat intellectually challenged when it comes to fridges, it could well be that everybody already knew this
I'm not sure where I learnt this. And I'm not overly sure why I decided to share it with DiS either
I know I do!
