This is sad. I learnt 'The Crane' from him.
He taught me that 'man who catch fly with chopstick, achieve anything.'
no offence, but that was a weak year.
i forgot to say i did love his films and he seemed like a lovely guy. my nickname is also Daniel-San, which i personally credit to him. RIP.
the death of George Best.
cuntish? The Oscars have probably only given about 2 awards to people who deserved them anyway.
Im not sure if I like the Karate Kid films, I haven't seen them for so long, its probably just some ironic thing now like Ghostbusters and the A - Team.
he got a bigger cheer than george best.
rest in peace sensei.
the original karate kid was a great great movie.....i agree with him being nominated for an oscar that year, the film was what it was, a story of the underdog coming good...there were a few aspects of that movie which were very well done i think. Me and my friends loved that movie when we were younger!
Rest in peace Mr Miyagi, may you plant bonsai tree's in heaven!
This is really sad.
Barely a day goes by without me thinking of Mr Miyagi's wise words.
He got a big cheer during Mike Park's set last night
daniel san : 'you mean there were times when you were scared to fight'
miyagi : 'miyagi always scared'
daniel san : 'yeah, but you knew karate'
miyagi : 'so'
daniel san : 'well thats what karate is, you are trained to fight'
miyagi : 'that what you think?'
daniel san : 'no'
miyagi : 'then why learn karate?'
daniel san : 'so you wont have to fight'
miyagi : (smiles)....'ahh miyagi have high hope for you daniel san'
I wish I had seen Mike Park. I saw the Chinkees once, they were amazing.
Sky should stop showing that advert with ed burne about not washing yr car on sundays that says 'forget mr Miagi'. The bit in KK when he's drunkingly reciting the letter informing him of his wifes death is tragic. I loved that man.
