i know i am.
this has been keeping me entertained for a while now.
bored rigid by 8.31am. depressing.
that much I do know
in here. the heating doesn't work down my end of the office (in fact, it only works where the managers sit) and i'm seriously considering asking to go home because my hands are too cold to type and i'm having to wear my coat at my desk.
were just talking about this.
supposedly (though this is middle-aged woman talk, so it may be bollocks) if it's 16 degrees or under within the first hour of your work, you can go home.
don't know how true this is but i'm bringing a thermometer to work tomorrow, the one here is broken, it's not 25 degrees.
freezing in my office too, I'm wearing a scarf and gloves, it's really slowing down my typing... If they turn the air conditioning up it starts dripping cold water on us all so it's a no win situation really.
I want to go back to bed. A lot.
is in a building that was built in 1897. It looks nice and everything, but it's fudging freezing inside.
There are draughts all over the place, I'm not looking forward to the northerly winds that are due in the week. I'm constantly drinking tea in a bid to keep warm as it is.
with Fellalady having worked in the same rather joyless offices - put yr hands on the kettle in the kitchen!

And maybe some dead mutant babies.
Go and have a rummage and report back here with your findings.
think you should really go nestling in there to keep warm tho..
there I saw body being brought into the morturary -that summed up my career at Fellalady's work-gaf - least you can listen to the radio there though!
I havent taken my scarf off yet and am tempted to put my gloves back on - fingerless ones of course so I can rub my hands together in Fagin-esque/Albert Steptoe type way
my personal favourite
