Hope he comes to Celtic. Always been his intention to come at some point.
It was going to happen sooner or later. I think he'll probably end up back at Man U in some capacity in the future. Regardless of what you think about the guy personally, he's been an incredible player for them.
i enjoy seeing the slow plight of man utd aka scum!
i am a liverpool supporter
how about concentrating on your own fuck up team and getting that lanky bastard to hit the back of the net?
And there is no plight we havnt had him pretty much all season and yes guess what!! We're ahead of you in the premiership ! We beat the champions Chelski! And now all this will do is encourage more efforts to signing some more quality midfielders!
Liverpool however will probably squander around in the transfer market again in january and be in a worse position later in the season...
i bid you good day sir
blue moon, you saw me standing alone...
you know yourself mate.....keane has been the driving force behind man utd for the last 12 years.....now he has gone there is a void left that cannot be filled. i bet rio and the rest are well chuffed he has gone as now, they can go out clubbing more often without being moaned at
and ahead of liverpool in the league......so what? its not even xmas......i find is great that now your best midfielder has gone.....you got smith and fletcher to stand in.....good luck
the demise has started
pardon? roy keane is the only thing that has been in demise recently and there is no need anymore for his presence at the club if man utd are to succeed. its about time he went as a difficult decision has been made easy and he is gone finally we can look to replacing him with someone like ballack etc
Now of course he has been an outstanding player to the club but hes not the player he used to be and as for keeping the other players in order i believe Alex ferguson is more than capable for that he is the man who controlled keane in the first place...
as for already not being a fan of our current midfield im still not bothered both smith and fletcher shined against chelski and the transfer window is just around the corner, they are only young like scholes keane etc used and time will show their talents.... what people say now is irrelevant like it was when we had our original young line up and they proved everyone wrong.
see.....fletcher and smith are not in the same league as scholes and beckham etc......and ballack.....yeah a great player, but a 29 year old layer that likes to get forward but is very weak defensively
and i cant believe you questioned my use of the word driving force
smith and fletcher shined against chelsea because it was keanes comments that wound them up in the first place mate
i am telling you.....man utds reign is ending just like liverpools did at the end of the 80's
and by the way........champs league winners 2005..............
remind me of the champs league i was watching the match screaming my head off for liverpool to win as i hope any decent supporter of english football would...
keane has always liked to get forward also he definitely hasnt had any lack of goals for man utd in the past!!
and as for our reign it ended a while ago when competition from chelsea (mainly) and arsenal appeared but it wont be tottaly gone.... Hopefully chelski wont become too powerful and dominate the premiership and at last we will have a 3 horse race for the title in seasons to come leading to a much more vibrant english football league...
Strong clubs are emerging in charlton, bolton and spurs and maybe even liverpool will sort out their league which i hope they do as i look forward to a better premiership...
anyway....hopefully we can all agree keane has been a fantastic player for man utd and im sorry he has gone even though i know it needed to happen
but only a fool would say one player leaving could destroy the club of man utd.
has he definately gone then? I thought he was leaving at the end of the season. I fhe has gone, its a crying shame that such a legendary player had to part with united on bad terms. Keane will be lookded back on alongside such greats as Best, Law, Charlton, Hughes, Ince, Robson and Cantona. Man Utd never really made a real attempt to replace him, so hopefully this will give them the shock to put 100% into signing Ballack.
Roy Keane....we'll miss you mate, best of luck.
