What a lovely band
aren't they just? :)
are and they're playing at ULU on Dec 9th.
I want an excuse to direct people to the 'Real PIrate Radio' review on the front of DiS. Can anybody think of one?
people that you have self-destructing glasses that rely on a certain number of people thinking 'Brainlove' each hour to keep them in one piece. If not enough people read your review and hence have their name enbedded on their memory, your eyes will explode thanks to your crazy glasses.
Wut is Stars?
is a nice indie-pop band from the Americas. Theys is good.
That bastard ULU gig clashes with my company's Christmas drink-up. Gaaaah.
like ULU much though to be honest. Saw Stars live at the TDK festival when eveyone else was off watching Magic Bloody Numbers and they were lush.
I like the sound of them now!
Sorry. ULU is shit though, you're right there.
I might have seen Death Cab at ULU. If that's the place I'm thinking of then it wasn't very good.
I feel less bad about missing it now.
Man. Are they playing anywhere else, do you know? I never remember their website and it's kind of hard to find...
What a lovely Album
very bland. Have they got anything better/more exciting out or is that their best?
by the album too. Whenever I put it on I think 'I'm going to love this' but then I don't. I keep giving it another listen too.
in Simply Red
No! In the Mirror, Somethings got me started, wonderland, Stars... the list goes on. I'm off home to listen to it now.*
the album is a bit samey but there are some great tunes - Your Ex-Lover is Dead is amazing!
that whenever I listen to it, I think it's amazing but I don't know what it is called because I always listen to it on my ipod. I'll find out which one it is.
is my favourite. It's a shame it's track one as nothing else is quite as good.
like Calender Girl as well. Seeing as you brought up Death Cab... I listened to them for the first time ever the other day (Transatlanticism) and I just don't get this DiS fanaticism over them. I just don't.
listen to The Photo Album.
I like Stars.
Death Cab for Cutie, that's Simply Red.
I can't believe you'd get the two confused.
I have problems deciding which one I love more. Then I remember that Mick Hucknall is one of the greatest recording artists of our generation - no contest.
(your ex-lover is dead).
I thought it was a promising start to the album...then it keeled over and flatlined.
I prefer "Heart" personally. Get that.
