Never been in a Morrisons
I've been in a Morrison's once, sorry everyone. (Queensbury (not London?) branch in July this year)
It's a supermarket, how good can it be
and my 'mum' probably wouldnt want me anywhere near her either...But I am putting myself up for adoption so whoever picks me up might decide to, would be pretty good fun but of course I will have forgotten that emotion so will just have to enjoy the idea of it now, and I am.
no need to reply
got no business in places like that.
Homebase (always B&Q)
that's like saying I've never been in WH Smiths cos I normally buy my books on Amazon
same with the birds
Agree about the birds though
Despite liking the smell every time I've passed one.
the smell gives me the boak
and all the other clothes shops like that.
Basically, if you buy a hoodie with the name emblazoned on it, chances are I've not been there. (Except Gap maybe)
The others suck.
There wasn't one south west of bristol... until NOW. One just opened on Exeter High Street. Get yourself down there mate it's fuckin alright.
Maybe I'll eat it today
Or pretty much anything in Eastleigh's Swan Centre that isn't Boots or WH Smith.
I was in Eastleigh mid September and needed some supplies, but I actually got them in the Boots opposite it in the end. that was the weekend we emptied the ladbrokes on the high street. Legally :)
I got an excellent multiway plug adapter in the Robert dyas.
Never been one near me. Don't seem to have been missing out much though.
Is definitely more outlandish than a claim to have not been in a Morrisons
So I don't find it *that* odd.
Posted a thread about it here I reckon.
Oh yeah, my concept of reality is SOOOOO askew from thinking it's slightly more likely that someone would have never been in a Morrisons based on their relative rarity.
i.e. it was mainly up north and thus doesn't count
Cheers for coming to my aid. It's much appreciated.
I don't think I would want to go to one now even if I had the opportunity.
THERE'S NO REASON FOR YOU NOT TO BELIEVE THIS.
I've never been to Leeds Bus Station
"T. M. Lewin is a gentleman's shirt retailer and was formerly a UK manufacturer. It was founded in 1898 when Thomas Mayes Lewin opened his first shop in Jermyn Street, St James's, London."
Vast majority of their sales are online, I would have guessed. Same with TM Lewin.
They do very good formal wear at affordable prices, essentially.
How else will you be certain of a good fit??
There was one of them quite close by my house in Cardiff but I just never went.
I'm foreign though so what do I know, eh.
Also never been in a Morrison's and probably loads of other shops too.
been in every shop in this thread apart from this one. They didn't have it when I was a kid, and I don't have kids, I have an odd compulsion to nip in now so I can get a full house in consumer bingo
It is all geared up to wring as much money out of you as possible, of course. You get your own helper who takes your kid round, they pick the bear, what smell you want in it, how it lights up, what noise it makes, the stuffing, the outfit (including shoes), then they name it and get a certificate. In the end you have an OK ish bear for £30+. Then presumably keep them coming back to buy new accessories.
I am still surprised how they make money as surely the target market of kids who want a custom made bear isn't all that large. I doubt they get that many wander in and get one on impulse, it is all birthday treats. The only vaguely exciting part was stuffing the thing.
(in fact, any betting shop bar the William Hill in the high street where I grew up - and that was when I was 17)
Snow+Sun, or whatever it's called
Any technical shop
I buy my dongs online
only been in ikea once (didn't buy anything)
just looks shit. Might be alright. Maybe I should go in and find out.
I, on the other hand, have been in a Wickes twice but have left empty handed on both occasions
have you been into the spar on chatsworth road? what's going on? why is it so nice? they have a restaurant that does nice burgers!
well weird, that.
It's not was weird as you think.
Eat17, the one in Walthamstow is particularly good.
I went once and somehow it costs a fortune.
And they have like only 3 types of sandwiches
Worst experience of my life I could have bought a huge dinner for the cost of one sandwich and one cake. Never go to pret
but you cannot say they lack choice. they have so much choice!
I also think their prices vary from store to store. I used to get lunch at one in mayfair and I must have spent about 15-20 quid a day in there between my morning drink and snack and lunch. And yet the one I go to in Glasgow is nowhere near as expensive as that.
let alone many ties that...
I don't even know where they have Aldis. I've never seen one. Do they actually exist?
harvey nics (walked past them in leeds and bristol and edinburgh)
barker & stonehouse
cineworld (totally counts)
loads of clothes shops probably
majestic wine cause i'm not a tory
all the shops
looks like an even shitter Iceland. I am sure if you avoid things like ready meals you can get some decent staples like frozen veggies and oven chips.
you can buy one coffee for 99p and then sit in there for as long as you like!! Bargain
