Have seen quite a few of these in London already. Probably perform a citizens' arrest next time.
They're not really any more dangerous than skateboards or scooters, are they?
from work to the train station, which is a 7 minute walk.
Both skateboards and scooters SHOULD also be banned. Well said Marckee.
But I am seeing a disturbing amount of those self-balancing motorised unicycle things.
And very unlikely to actually hurt someone, keep them I say.
Rugby should really be banned forever tbh.
'have seen quite a few of these in London'
bet you have
If I had fucked up my a levels would you have cleaned my toilet?
On the pavement. Like some criminal shit.
Should have rugby tackled him to the ground.
No real harm caused although they did look like twats.
Including one guy who couldn't get into the Viccy centre because of a small bump where the door is. He tried way more times than I would've, before reluctantly picking the thing up and carrying it in.
The background to the US guy who invented them, the Chinese companies who mass produced knockoffs, and the US venture capitalist who reckons he deserves all the money is fascinating: http://www.buzzfeed.com/josephbernstein/the-war-of-the-hoverboards#.pdBzlgL084
it's incredible to think with patents and such how much time companies/inventors etc have to spent fighting over who patented what and when. Fuck knows how anyone makes any money out of the things after all the legal wrangling.
seen 2 of these in Cambridge in the last week or so.
Managed to carry it off while going down one of the worst streets in the country so, as a result, they're okay.
If they come to Cork I will not be okay with that, I would like to make that known.
must be for cunts
