so that'll be nice.
that is nice.
Now, what the fuck happened in the last one...
some people went off with them or something
deffo saw boobs though.
saying the water level is dropping
except the boobs
presuming it would be more self-contained and have an ending but nope
better have come up with an ending this time though
I think the ending has put me off bothering with S2. Will save them up and see what the initial response is like.
Creepy little bastard.
but like Broadchurch/Heroes/Lost/lots of things, I suspect it may have a brilliant first series and then we'll all have to pretend the next series never existed.
Come on Lake Pub, don't let me down! I'm looking forward to more dam workers shrugging. And the return of le peepee noir de Simon which someone on here (Balonz?) was obsessed with.
Was bloody brilliant.
There was definitely enough in there to keep me interested for the series.
the infamous Penis DarknessPenis Darkness?
I'd been talking about the nob darkening long before Simon's peepee noir, I was just shocked at his darkness.
never watch an episode of Les Revenants before going to Milton Keynes, unless you want to feel incredibly uneasy
or just never go to Milton Keynes, unless you want to feel incredibly uneasy
do you say
"darling, shall we watch an episode of Les Revenants?"
"how pet, lets watch The Returned on wor telly. man"
The former for me. With exageratted french enunciation.
so tedious, serge's dad is the worst character ever. absolutely miniscule advances into really uninteresting back stories every episode. fuck off.
couldnt remember anything, was bored af. gf says it's amazing but i think she might be wrong?
all they've done this season is add a bunch of new characters to give more backstory to, nothing has been advanced whatsoever, and the new characters are pretty terrible.
the wife is much more forgiving than me and she gave up on it too.
Loads has been advanced! What happened to the dam, Victor's role in all this, the difference between the horde and the other returnees, the backstory of more of the characters, why some people couldn't leave... this series has been full of answers. Not fully-fleshed-out answers, yet, but it definitely seems to be heading to a conclusion. And it's so creepy! I love it.
But if ends at the end of series two then I think it'll avoid that fate. It hasn't got nearly as silly as Lost yet.
who said it took so long to do the second series because french tv isn't well-equipped to do stuff like this quickly, but also because the way they're writing it they're mostly all doing this for the first time and they don't really know what they're doing, sounds vaguely ominous (liek the show!!)
Very impressed with it, had to write off the first one because I couldn't remember who anyone was or what they were up to but really enjoyed all the others. The production value seems so much better than anything on British TV too.
Victor is still creepy as all hell too.
