The only movie I ever walked out of was Alexander the Great with Colin Farrel. Horrible movie.
got in free so didnt lose out
Fairytale Fucking city
woud oy yuw loik?
don't because my only other choice is sitting in costa or something by myself feeling angry
but i have just sat their texting about how the film is shit during both Boyhood and Grand Budapest Hotel
no greater crime than texting in the cinema, fucking hell. (Also Boyhood is brilliant).
I'd seen it the week before so I knew how it finished. And the pubs were open
a few folk walked out of macbeth after 10 mins yesterday :D
I didn't ask them
left the iron on?
and Tree of Life
but I had a great nap during Pirates of the Caribbean 3
I fell asleep during the ring (or might have been the other one that was pretty much the same)
seemed kind of superfluous tbh.
Hangover 2 - i was very drunk and just wandered out
The Tree of Life - goes without saying
tbh probably would have been easier to just turn it off
Most recently I think it was In Bruges, and War of the Worlds. In both cases I lasted about halfway through.
I hate spending even a minute in front of a movie or TV show that I'm not into. It's like from the point where I realise it's shite, I can feel my life just ebbing away
That's what you get for being in a relationship
Gonna buy it, watch half hour, then throw it in the bin. Need my indie points.
not because it was shit, but because i was really tired and it was really late. watched the rest on dvd the day after.
And I never feel as though I can properly pass judgement on a film until I've seen the whole thing.
So I never have and I never will.
I quite enjoyed it.
22 people walked out... 22!!
I loved it.
Which included convincing the person I was with to also leave. Wasn't hard.
exactly what a gory visually appealing film about spartans didn't deliver when it was entirely marketed as a gory visually appealing film about spartans
It was shit?
I think this exemplifies your terrible failings as a human being perfectly.
does that count?
I went to the Shunga (Japanese erotica) exhibition at the British Museum, tickets cost something like £15, and it was clearly advertised as being full of sexually explicit materials, but I saw a couple of middle aged women walk in, spend 20 seconds looking at some of the exhibits, shake their heads, and walk straight out again. What were they expecting to see?
and didn't pay much attention in advance.
(Sorry, boring answer)
for a quick bit of frontage.
No indie points on offer in this thread, I'm afraid
"don't because my only other choice is sitting in costa or something by myself feeling angry

He's a complete prat though
but the only thing I've walked out of is Monsters: Dark Continent and I wish I hadn't stuck it out as long as I did. Just a terrible film.
Do sometimes wish I could be like Michael Owen with his hatred of cinema rather than enduring so many terrible films.
Tree of Life is one of the eight films michael owen has watched.
What an odd man
Was dreadful. I only have myself to blame.
It's a conspiracy to create tension and upkeep drama on the boards. I knew it.
Then again I've only seen two films in the cinema this year so I'm pretty picky about what I watch.
What am I saying, I just don't like films anyway. I'd never go to one I know there'd be a chance I'd walk out of it.
