Coming soon. Are you scared? You should be.
Now if I buy bin liners which are thicker and use more plastic my plastic use will go up. Thanks government.
with room for massive bins, you neo-con.
Name something else you can buy from 5p.
and will bring their own bags in future
bit like charging a few quid for entry into exhibitions, gets rid of like 85% of the tourist bellends who don't even understand what's happening
and Wales and Northern Ireland have had it even longer. the results seem to have been pretty successful - http://www.theguardian.com/environment/2015/apr/17/scotland-plastic-bag-usage-falls-after-5p-charge-introduced
i've only had to pay for one on a couple of occasions. yeah, 5p is a nominal charge, but I've found it does make me take bags with me ahead of time.
although as most of the supermarkets have ditched those flimsy single-use bags completely, if you do pay for one you're usually getting a better quality one.
because I'm a smug cock.
I always remember to take some now when I go to the shop, and on the occasions I do need a new bag I'll only take what I really need rather than splitting the shopping unnecessarily between a few bags.
as we can't afford them
what's going to happen to all the bags?
and there'll be no reason to be afraid....ever.
when this got introduced company-wide. Had to deal with so many outraged middle class twats.
so im supposed to plan my trips to the shop every time? or face a barbarian tax???
fine, I guess
does that mean I'll no longer get green clubcard points added to my receipt? APPROVAL NEEDED.
WHSmiths says did you take a bag and charges you an extra penny if you do
I say I don't...but take one anyway!
take back your £65 from THE MAN
what i hate though is people who go to the self service check out, scan through a whole weekly shop, then wander off to the normal tils to ask for some plastic bags. CUNTS.
