nothing fancy, just a thread about toast. really good, isn't it?
I was fucking sparkled and my pal toasted a bagel and smothered it in butter and gave me it, saved my night and was probably the greatest toasted thing I've ever had.
thanks for sharing, LP
with peanut butter, for breakfast every day. Bloody love toast!
that's some dedication to toast
4 slices with peanut butter will see me through 60 miles at a decent pace before I eat lunch.
Not a fan.
I mean, it's fine, but if you told me here and now that I'd never eat toast ever again, I'd be absolutely fine with it.
too much lying around here
If I go for lunch at the weekends at my favourite café I ask them to hold off on the toast because it'll just be wasted.
Can't think of the last time I used the toaster in our house as well.
I'd be devastated if I couldn't eat toast again.
I'd go so far to say that if I never ate bread (and toast) again I wouldn't care.
really not sure where this leaves our relationship
Drinking lots of weissbier rather than eating bread while fasting!
Just not really fussed about toast.
Toasted English muffin however, that's a different story...
Happy to drop it as part of a fry-up or other larger meal though.
going to have some with my soup later. BUTTER is critical though - too often people buy delicious bread and sully it with shit/old butter. You need to invest a little extra into posh butter to really get the MOST from your TOAST.
and can get to fuck
Not sure I have ever had any.
a couple of weeks, maybe. Sometimes butter lasts for ages, sometimes it goes shit almost immediately. You just have to use your judgement.
Toasted sourdough for the win.
Had some lovely crumpets yesterday.
is the only way a true toast fan eats toast.
They must be stopped
All my ma ordered was toast with butter and marmite. What a waste of a good brunch.
one of life's true winners.
Freshly made bread, toasted, with butter on. Perfect.
