- above wiki page relates to a famous piece of football commentary where the commentator lists a load of English icons and then says "your boys took one hell of a beating!"
- this has since been well-parodied, as listed
- I stretched it a little further.

I'd never heard of them until a couple of months ago, so maybe they are.
I've just bought Persiana (cookbook) and those middle-easterns seem to go wild for pomegranate.

Does this count?
Organic pointed sweet pepper and milk
Swiss chocolate biscuits
Feta and black olives

Mange tout = middle class?

Brown Rice Miso
Belizian Chilli Mash

in summer. And in winter.
It's a very light wine, more of a refreshing spritzer realy and you'll struggle to find one that's more than about 11% alc. if she was tanking a 14% shiraz I might be worried :)
The Sainsbos stuff she drinks is 9%
It is pop.
Have you ever had a white port and tonic?
I am off to Lisbon and then madeira week after next and I WILL!
Arguably as good as a g&t.
a three year old jar of (undoubtedly gone-off) maille dijon mustard
in the cupboards it's a toss up between either low-sodium chicken stock (from asdas) cubes or jamie oliver pink himalayan salt (from b&m bargains)
Coconut milk soya yoghurt.
An eclectic range of preserves.
