I'm cycling 6 1/2 miles each way most days and it works out at around 400 calories burned each way. That's as much as a 20 minute run without the terrible pain afterwards
finally accepting that strava overestimates running calories by around 100% =(
regularly take a look at my relatively gentle 35 minute run and it claims I burned 500+ calories. Can that be right? Doubt it.
and then more depending on how quick you went as you take longer to recover

Banana is full of sugar and will make your blood sugar spike. You want a handful of almonds. Slightly more calories, more fat,but will sustain your metabolism properly.

I assumed it would be vile, but 40 minutes in the oven and it was lovely. This is blatantly how chinese takeaways do them. So yeah, these.
it means you can blast the skin making it crispy, and the meat stays moist. Sticking a frozen sachet of hoisin sauce in a mug of boiling water to defrost took the romance out a touch however.
