This thread is not for people with stand alone showers, quite frankly you can fuck off.
I'd guess two metres?
1.5m seems to be standard.
Probably 1.5m then. It doesn't seem overly long.
and then a rail like this:
What do you reckon?
Is this an over-the-bath job?
(not to scale)
Interesting fact: the mixer tap in our bath is broken so the only way to run a bath is to unscrew the shower head and point it bathwards.
What I do know is that the sliding up and down thing to set the height of the shower head is now fucked in our bathroom.
Bastard just slides down all the time now.
Of course, if my housemate left it at the highest setting so I can get under it then it wouldn't have broken.
This goes for all shorter people actually. Leave it alone for fuck sake, the water still reaches you doesn't it? What are you worried about, the water cooling down before it gets to you?
If you're that worried, stand on a box.
(Just need the electrics in there for the bulb and extractor fan sorted now!)
We've got one which has two separate shower heads, one with a hose and one overhanging, how do you feel about that!(?)
We just painted our bathroom and had it tiled. Just a few bits to finish off such as hose length.
i think it might be too long. i think it might actually be too long. it doesn't need to be that long. thinking about the size of the hose and the size of the shower. something isn't adding up here. thanks for asking because this has been playing on my mind a while and
The bath has to be 30cm high, then 10cm of tap and the shower head itself 30cm? So I should need 1.5? Yeah?
I need to measure my current one really. It's too short.
Not this long...
2.75m, all in.
In a strange (and fascinating) coincidence I measured ours yesterday as it's leaking everywhere and I want a replacement.
The answer is 1.25m. And here it is.
Also decided to go almost fully mental and order a new shower rail to go with it as the other one has all the 'coating' flaking off due to the holder being moved up and down. Why even move it? Just leave it at the high point and it's fine. Anyway, enough of the teasing, here's the direct replacement for that too, or maybe it isn't? Does chrome flake off?
You'd think I'm made of money, but don't worry - it's coming out the joint account.
Not too sure about the plastic soap dish though. Who needs a soap dish in the 21st century (might make a good thread, that).
My old hose was 1.25m as it turns out so the additional 25cm should sort me right out.
Or maybe what I should do with the 1.25m hose? It seems to be quite new.
I found your question disrespectful and chose not to answer it.
Not sure I will get a chance to fit them tomorrow though. Well I could fit the hose, that is pretty quiet.
good choice, honestly any longer than that and you're a certified fire fighter
Went up like a dream last night. Great work from me.
