Political correctness is a term of criticism - it's used by arseholes as an umbrella term for anything that seems excessively considerate. So it's a matter of perspective isn't it. Morality eh.

I did read the article. I think the Clarksons/Trumps of the world would've translated it in terms of kid gloves and nanny state, positive discrimination etc - so are unlikely to see anything in this.
I thought it was fun and agreed with it but hey I was predisposed to that perspective so whatever.

I saw something about this the other day saying it was a Neil Gaimen quote. Prob Amanda Palmers idea - que loads of DiSer now saying it's shit ;)
I've noticed people here have stopped using the phrase. I don't use it, because ironically being PC in the UK in 2015 can mean all sorts of bad things (e.g anti-immigration). It only works as a phrase if the current government are striving for real acceptance and equality for all people.
