When everyone would come in wearing uniform and be really well behaved?
does EVERYONE, in EVERY school, have uniforms? Or are there some schools that don't have them? This is so weird to me
And they actually show positive effects on exam results iirc
But they're really more about grinding discipline aren't they, crushing individualism to prepare for fifty years in an office.

at least there was still a shred of individuality. Tbf when summer dress came in they were pretty relaxed about it and most of the time just wore dark jeans or something like that with a polo shirt.
