...a great drama series that was cancelled after a single season?
...even a very good one?
if they were gud they wudnt of got canceled
only 90s kids will understand this!!!!
it was a great cowboys in space series.
it's a wider definition than a cowboys in space series, of which there was only one. Hence it is the greatest of its genre. But compared to, say Brideshead Revisited it's a little, how shall we say... shit.
The initial fumbled proposal gets me every time.
but it did finish on a load of ridiculous cliffhangers that I would have loved to have seen followed up.
If so, there's regularly good stuff on BBC/ITV.
Three initially come to mind:
Any Human Heart
The Enfield Haunting
faster than a shark?
It was top! You had Penny and Charlie from Lost, the tall sad guy from Smash and Coupling, Harold from Harold and Kumar and Shakespeare doing a dodgy American accent. Only the plot and the dialogue let it down.
about Wayward Pines?!
This was great and definitely had scope for a second series.
well, I thought it was great, daren't re-watch it now because I'm sure it will seem rubbish
BBC sci-fi drama from a few years back...
Was pretty good, human colony on a new planet, strange Lost-esque stuff happening. big finale at the end of S1 setting it up perfectly for seaso...cancelled
Freaks and Geeks
though at 45 minutes each it feels more comedy-drama than a sitcom I reckon.
and My So-Called Life.
