Been convinced that cycling around the Isle of Wight for a local charity is a good idea, so going to join a handful of friends from my local pub to do just that. It's ~66 miles, and we'll probably stop half-way round for a bite to eat / liquid lunch.
Charity is Naomi House & Jack's Place, based near Winchester, who offer care for life-limited children and young people, and support for their families. The pub in question holds an annual fun day to raise funds for NH&JP, but we also wanted to do a more personal challenge (we're a mixed group, all about 30-50 with no serious cycling experience).
Fellow DiS'ers, if you can support the effort in any way it would be very much appreciated. Thank you. x
