Do you have to put things in bags or do you put them directly into the bin?
At my family home we have just a massive recycling bin you just chuck stuff straight in but at my student house we have to separate everything into big bucket things
one on the left for glass and plastic bottles etc http://www.recycleforgreatermanchester.com/clientfiles/Image/brown%20bin.bmp
remove when full and take the outside recycling bin for the flats. then realise this hasn't been emptied because some stupid cunt thinks concrete or an ironing board is recycling, so immediately try and put into my normal waste bin. Realise this is full because the bin is too small, so walk a short distance to the other flats recycling bin and empty, spilling beer juice on my hands but then have to rush off to work. Then think about how much I hate recycling for rest of the day
and if you do, don't tie them up and keep all the same stuff in each bag. I would love to be really tidy and rinse everything out then put them delicately in bags, but that is never going to happen.
I think it's actually discouraged in our area.
However, I do use the biodegradable food waste bin liners. The job is just too gross if I don't use them.
